One T-Cell Tactics box contains two games: A fun version which does not require any expertise or knowledge of the immune system. And another version for medical students, fellows, scientists, physicians and hard core gamers who like to demonstrate their knowledge or memorization skills.
In both versions, players build T-Helper cells (represented by playing cards) using Cytokines and Transcription Factors (tokens). These T-Helper cells are then combined with Chemokines (tokens) to deploy Effector Cells (playing cards).
When a player has two matching Effector Cells, they immediately claim a bonus card representing a successfully treated disease or condition. Each T-Helper, Effector, and Bonus card awards Victory Points, and the game end is triggered as soon as any player reaches 15 Victory Points."
